Abstract

This study aimed to validate the Happy Schools Effectiveness Model based on the Fundamental Education Transformation Document in Mazandaran Province. This applied study employed a descriptive–survey design. The statistical population consisted of principals, deputy principals, and elementary school teachers in Mazandaran Province, selected through stratified random sampling using the Cochran formula. Data were collected using a researcher-developed questionnaire, whose content validity was confirmed by experts and construct validity was assessed through confirmatory factor analysis. Reliability was examined using Cronbach’s alpha and composite reliability. Data were analyzed using SPSS and Smart PLS with structural equation modeling techniques. The results indicated that all constructs demonstrated adequate reliability as well as convergent and discriminant validity. Structural path coefficients were positive and statistically significant, and overall model fit indices (including SRMR and NFI) confirmed a good model fit. Coefficients of determination and predictive relevance showed strong explanatory and predictive power of the model. The validated model provides a robust and reliable framework for explaining and promoting happy and effective schools aligned with the goals of the Fundamental Education Transformation Document.
