Author Guidelines
1. General Information
The Intelligent Learning and Management Transformation (ILMT) journal welcomes original and high-quality scholarly contributions in the fields of intelligent learning systems, management transformation, educational technology, artificial intelligence applications, and organizational innovation.
All manuscripts must be written entirely in Persian (Farsi), except for the English abstract, English title, English keywords, and the Extended Abstract. Submissions that do not comply with the journal’s formatting and ethical standards will not be sent for review.
All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process involving two or three expert reviewers. The average time from submission to final decision is approximately 6–8 weeks.
2. Language and Formatting Requirements

Referencing style: APA (American Psychological Association, 7th edition) — all in-text citations and reference list entries must conform to APA standards.
Authors are strongly advised to proofread their manuscripts carefully before submission to ensure linguistic accuracy and adherence to the journal’s stylistic requirements.
3. Article Structure
Each manuscript must follow the structure outlined below. Submissions that do not adhere to this format will be returned to the author(s) for correction prior to peer review.
A. Title Page
The title page should contain:

Title of the article in both Persian and English (concise and informative, maximum 20 words).

Full names of all authors (in Persian and English), along with their academic rank, institutional affiliation, city, and country.
-
Clearly indicate the corresponding author, including email address and ORCID ID.
-
Do not include titles such as Dr., Mr., Ms., or Prof. in the name fields.
B. Abstracts and Keywords
Each article must include:

Persian Abstract — up to 250 words, summarizing the study’s objectives, methods, major findings, and conclusions.
-
English Abstract — identical in content to the Persian abstract (up to 250 words).
-
Keywords — 5 to 7 words or phrases, presented alphabetically in both Persian and English, separated by commas.
C. Extended Abstract (English)
An extended abstract in English (between 1,000–1,500 words) is mandatory for all accepted papers.
It should include the following sections in paragraph form:

Introduction (with background and purpose)

Methods and Materials (study design, participants, instruments, procedures)
-
Findings (main results, without tables or figures)
-
Discussion and Conclusion (interpretation, implications, and summary)
The extended abstract must be written in academic English, using Times New Roman, size 12, and adhere to APA style. It will appear after the Persian article text in the published version.
D. Main Text (in Persian)
The main body of the article should be structured as follows:

Introduction

Presentation of the research problem, theoretical background, research gap, objectives, and hypotheses or questions.

All references must be cited in APA style (translated into Persian context using the same reference list).

Methods and Materials
-
Description of the research design, population, sampling method, instruments, reliability and validity, data collection, and analysis procedures.

Findings
-
Presentation of results through tables, figures, and statistical analyses as appropriate.
-
Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively and titled in Persian (with English translation provided below the Persian title in parentheses).

Discussion and Conclusion
-
Interpretation of findings in relation to previous research, implications for theory and practice, and limitations of the study.
-
The final paragraph should include the main conclusion and possible directions for future research.

Acknowledgements (if applicable)

Authors may acknowledge funding bodies, institutions, or individuals who contributed to the study but are not listed as co-authors.

References
-
References must be formatted according to APA 7th edition.

The reference list should appear in English, even though the article text is in Persian.

The list should be ordered alphabetically by the first author’s surname.

4. Tables, Figures, and Illustrations
-
All tables and figures must be numbered sequentially (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1).
-
Each table or figure should have a Persian title, followed by the English equivalent in parentheses below it.
-
The data presented should not duplicate information already discussed in the text.
-
Tables should be created using Microsoft Word (not as images).
-
Figures and graphs must be clear, high resolution (at least 300 dpi), and in black-and-white format unless color is essential.
5. Ethical Considerations

Authors must confirm that the manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
-
Studies involving human participants or animals must include evidence of ethical approval from a recognized institutional review board and informed consent from participants.
-
All potential conflicts of interest (financial, institutional, or personal) must be disclosed in the manuscript.
-
The journal follows COPE guidelines in cases of suspected misconduct, plagiarism, or data manipulation.
6. Submission Procedure

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system available on the official ILMT website.
-
Authors must create an account, complete the submission metadata, and upload:

The main manuscript (without author identifiers).
-
A separate title page containing author information.
-
A plagiarism report (preferably from iThenticate or similar software).
-

The corresponding author will receive confirmation of submission and all communications regarding peer review and publication.
7. Peer Review and Publication Process

Initial Screening: The editorial office reviews each submission for compliance with journal scope, format, and ethical standards.
-
Plagiarism Check: Manuscripts are screened using iThenticate software.
-
Double-Blind Peer Review: Two or three reviewers evaluate the paper’s scientific rigor, originality, and contribution.
-
Revision Stage: Authors may be asked to revise their manuscript based on reviewers’ feedback.
-
Final Acceptance: Once approved, the article proceeds to technical editing, formatting, and online publication.
8. Article Processing Charges (APCs)
To support open-access publishing and editorial operations, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of 3,000,000 Iranian Tomans upon acceptance of the manuscript.
There are no submission fees. Requests for partial or full fee waivers may be considered in cases of financial hardship or lack of institutional funding, subject to approval by the Chief Editor.
9. Copyright and License
Authors retain full copyright of their published articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
This license allows others to share, copy, and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided proper credit is given to the original authors and source. Commercial reuse requires explicit written permission.
10. Final Checklist before Submission
Before submitting, authors should ensure that:

The manuscript is written entirely in Persian, with English abstract and extended abstract included.

Formatting follows the font and size requirements: B Nazanin for Persian text, Times New Roman for English.
-
References conform to APA 7th edition and are consistent in both in-text citations and the reference list.
-
The word count for the Extended Abstract is between 1,000 and 1,500 words.
-
All figures, tables, and citations are accurate and complete.
-
Ethical approval and conflict-of-interest statements are provided.
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
